ASOCIACION DE REFUGIO Y PROTECCIÓN DE ANIMALES. I.A.P.

The ARPA (Association of Animal Shelter and Protection) is devoted to assistance activities for the care of animals, it has a shelter for dogs in extreme situations, which allows them to have a decent life, with access to food, shelter, areas to run and play, and above all, the affection they deserve.

The Borges-Coppel Foundation supports their cause and dog shelter since 2018 by donating:

√ 1 ton of dog food a month, that provides daily meals for a floating population of 200 rescued dogs from extreme conditions.

√ Canine and feline sterilization and deworming campaigns for an average of 641 pets per year.

√ Emergency medical and veterinary fees, as well as the expenses of 55 surgeries per year, 62 chemotherapy sessions and 2 orthopedic carts for lame dogs.

√ 19 annual workshops ¨Caring for Flora and Fauna and their impact on health and ecology¨ aimed at public schools with material developed by the Faculty of Biology of the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (UAS) and ARPA, I.A.P., focused on education, empathy and care of all animals and nature.
